No. An internet connection is required. Secret Place uses AI-powered transcription to convert spoken prayers into text and surface relevant biblical references. This processing is secure, encrypted, and ephemeral — nothing is stored or retained by third parties once the transcription is complete.

No. Secret Place does not claim divine authority, prophecy, or revelation. AI is used only to organize, transcribe, and surface relevant Scripture — never to speak on God's behalf. The Bible remains the final authority.

Secret Place uses NLT translation. We are careful about licensing and accuracy and will always be transparent about which translations are in use. We aim to allow users to select their preferred translation soon.

No, never. No human listens to, reviews, or moderates your prayers. All processing is automated, encrypted, and ephemeral. Staying between you and God, as it should.

If you delete the app, all locally stored prayers and journals on that device are permanently removed.
